Nothing can compare to a refreshing warm beverage in the morning. And the coffee is the best choice. Its refreshing and energizing qualities have been know for centuries while recent studies have revealed that it has a range of health benefits.

However, the chemical content of the beans is complex. They contain acids that have harmful effects on the gastrointestinal tract. The good news is that you do not have to consume these. You can simply opt for a low acid coffee.

Using such a product to prepare your drink will definitely prevent you from having any stomach aches and digestive problems. The low acid coffee is also recommended to individual suffering from certain medical conditions such as acid reflux and heartburn. Generally, if you are more prone to getting gastrointestinal tract diseases, you should definitely use such a product over the standard coffee.

The dark roasts are usually less acidic. But at the same time they are not as rich in aromas and flavor as the light roasts. You should keep in mind that the low acid coffee is not additionally roasted. It is produced with the use of a special method, which is natural and totally safe. The technological process allows for the removal of the acids that cause the digestive and stomach problems. Meanwhile the chemical compounds that provide the unique taste of the drink and are actually beneficial for your health are preserved. So, the drink is safer and equally delicious and aromatic.

There are a number of low acid coffee brands on the market. You should make sure that you are buying a high quality product with a pH factor larger than 5.0. Also, in order to reduce the effect of any acidic chemical compounds left to a minimum you may want to prepare the beverage in a special way known as cold brewing.

Commercial coffee grinders are as the name implies; grinders used for commercial purposes. The number one priority from each grinder company is the ability to guarantee uniform grinding with every setting available on that grinder. They are designed for continuous use, fast grind time, long time use with a heavy duty ½ horse power motor to do that.

Most are burr grinders, but blade grinders are available. The list of where commercial coffee grinders are used is too long to name them all here. But, to name some of the major spots include coffee houses, tea shops, yes tea houses for those who also enjoy a good cup of coffee, high end short term convalescent centers, hospitals, restaurants, pizza places, coffee roasting shops and large corporations where they want to serve their clients a great cup of coffee.

The first concern when buying a commercial grinder is what is the need and the amount of use. This immediately leads to the three types of commercial coffee grinders. The three types of commercial coffee grinders are: retail grinders, food service grinders and last, but not lest espresso grinders.

Retail grinders are those you find at the grocery store or a specialty store where you can grind your own coffee by the pound. Usually they have one or two, sometimes more, different brands of coffee beans already in a sack that you can empty into the hopper at the top of the grinder. This way you are grinding a select amount of coffee; 1 or 2 lbs. The grinders offer a number of click-stop grind settings. The best grinders offer settings from Turkish powder for espresso machines to course grinds for percolators and French press coffee makers. Many grinders today have safety and ETL sanitation ratings and are RoHas approved, which means they do not have any toxic metals in the manufacture of that commercial grinder. Grindmaster offers a four year warranty on parts (or 30,000 lbs.) of ground coffee, whichever comes first and one year labor; all other parts are 2 years with 1 year labor.

Food service grinders also offer a wide range of grind settings from course to Turkish powder. Food service grinders are found in restaurants, coffee houses, fast food restaurants, delis, pizza restaurants, and fine tea houses. They are also found in hotel restaurants and high end short term convalescent care centers. These usually have long-lasting burr grinders that are dependable work horses, yet economical. These grinders come in one, two and three portion hoppers. This allows the server to brew select portions of, say, a fresh ground decaf, a fresh ground light roast and a fresh ground dark (robust) roast coffee. Burr grinders also grind flavored coffees as well without creating a burnt flavor or taste. Most food service grinder companies offer a 3 year warranty.

Commercial espresso grinders offer an exclusive set of grind settings. These grinders have dosers for the barista. The automatic espresso grinders keep the doser chute full of ground espresso coffee that is ready for dispensing right into the porta-filter of the espresso machine. When the doser becomes low the grinder automatically grinds the right amount to refill the doser. Another espresso grinder for the advanced barista offers a manual timer. Here he can control the length of the grind and the size of the grind for each espresso, latte or cappuccino drink.

We offer a wide variety of household coffee makers from one cup to 14 cup, percolators, urns and brands that are all 3 star and above. Our commercial brands are the Grindmaster, Cecilware and Bunn products along with all there accessories and options. Let us know how we can serve you.

To get coffee evenly distributed and firmly packed into your espresso machine’s filter basket, you need a device called a “tamper.” But before you get too into this shopping experience, it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with the art of tamping.

What’s available

There are two types of hand held espresso tampers; the cheap kind and the not-so cheap kind.

Economy tampers are solid metal or plastic, shaped like a thin axle holding apart two solid plates and provide two separate tamping surfaces (often in different sizes.) Most espresso machines come with one of these. And yes, they work alright, but they’re awkward to hold and you don’t get your coffee snob satisfaction of having a carefully-designed instrument blessed by a certified coffee pope.

Expensive tampers typically feature one tamping surface and a fancy handle that’s easy to grip.

Features and considerations

Size: The most important aspect of purchasing a tamper is getting one which fits your filter basket. Measure your filter basket carefully (you have a metric caliper right?) or bring it to a store to find a tamper of the appropriate size. There are several sizes of filter baskets (and corresponding tampers) with diameters ranging from around 49 to 60 millimeters. Aren’t you glad you learned the metric system?

Weight and mass: It’s easier to use a tamper that has some mass to it than a cheapie plastic one. You probably won’t find a tamper that’s too heavy to use, so go for a nice heavy one.

Rounded vs. flat bottom: Some tampers have a convex tamping surface, others are flat. This is a matter of preference, get whatever suits your fancy.

Feel: Yes, the feel of a tamper is something you should consider. If you manage to get a repetitive stress injury just touching one model, try a different one.

Looks: Hey, you want to impress your friends, and I hate to say it but your 1992 Toyota Corolla isn’t much of a looker. That’s why you need a tamper that not only matches your espresso machine, but

Places to buy

One of the few places you can buy a tamper online is from Illy. Their tampers are (of course) very stylish, being Italian and all. If you order online they’ll throw in free shipping if you order enough (currently $75 or more.)

Jura is a premium brand of espresso machines that began business in 1931 in Switzerland and later collaborated with Capresso in the United States in 1994. These machines are the top quality in super automatic espresso brewing, and they also offer a number of user-friendly features with a one touch brew system.

What truly sets Capresso apart is the flavor and extraction process that produces espresso without bitterness. These machines create a variety of espresso beverages, including cappuccinos, lattes, and even a hot water dispenser for tea or hot chocolate. The process of a Capresso espresso extraction is in grinding, tamping, brewing, and cleaning within less than a minute, simulating the actual process of a real barista! Every cup of coffee that is brewed is made to order with the touch of a button, guaranteeing the ultimate level of aroma and freshness. The machines work with an 18 bar pump to push hot water at a high pressure through the fresh espresso grounds to perform an extraction within 30 seconds. This also reduces bitter chemicals within the brew that are often found in longer brewing processes.

Capresso super automatic espresso machines have a generously large chamber for brewing, which can hold 16 g of fresh coffee grounds. This is actually more than any other espresso machine on the market, and it lets you brew a 16 ounce cup of Joe within one brew cycle. Of course, this can equal one or two double shots of espresso, a 12 ounce cup of coffee, or any other combination to create 16 ounces of fresh brew. The machines also work with a stainless steel lined ThermoBlock heating element at a higher wattage to offer a maximum steam capacity for brewing and frothing milk for espresso beverages. Many Capresso super automatic espresso machines also froth and brew the espresso with a single touch of a button in a one touch system.

These Capresso super automatic espresso machines can be left in standby mode for the entire day, meaning that they are ready and available to brew an espresso beverage in mere seconds. Within the brew process, you also the convenience to change the coffee volume and strength within the programming. All of the machines are designed in a user-friendly manner to alert you when to refill the beans and water, and even when to clean the machine!

Capresso machines are finely crafted in Switzerland out of the most durable materials. They also include a built-in commercial conical steel burr grinder that is the top in its class for a quiet grinding alternative with manual calibration for exact precision in the coffee grounds. These complete and deluxe Capresso machines are exactly what you have been looking for in your homebrew system if you want complete accuracy in every shot of espresso that is brewed.

There is truly nothing better than a fresh and delicious shot of espresso that is brewed to perfection, especially if all you have to do is touch one button to brew! Try Capresso for yourself, and see…

Are you an avid coffee drinker? Do you want to indulge in quality oriented coffee? Then you have come to the right place. Coffee is basically a herb that is grown in several tastes. Its cultivation also takes place beneath a covering of shade trees. Although in the modern times there is a specific name for this kind of coffee, i.e. “shade-grown coffee”, but almost two to three decades ago it was the one and only method of cultivating coffee. With the passage of time several coffee plantations are also accustomed to grow in the sunlight.

The difference between the to is that the coffee that is grown in the shade has a life span that is two times the life span of the coffee that is grown in the sunlight and also spreads the herb meaning that the coffee herbs and shrubs grow even without re-plantation. This also ensures the restricted usage of chemical fertilizers hence giving gourmet its natural flavor that is finer in quality as compared to the regular coffee that is bitter in contrast.

When it comes to coffee one is presented with a wide array of choices, and if you belong to the category that derives pleasure in frequent entertain events and occasions, then you will surely want to keep a variety of gourmet coffee on hand in order to go well with the special taste requirements of your different guests. An equally important factor that is ignored whilst shopping for gourmet coffee is not only do you need to purchase good quality coffee but should also be knowledgeable regarding the most excellent method of preparation of your coffee.

On a personal not, drip filtering is possibly the most ordinary method of making coffee. Further investing in a good brewer or an espresso machine in accordance to your personal requirements would be money well spent. As the method that you employ to brew your coffee will most definitely affect and enhance the taste of the respective coffee. Another thing that needs to be taken into account whilst taking into consideration the different sorts of gourmet coffees is that you need to have all the respective coffee accessories, especially if you are one of those people who visit friends and family just for a cup of your favorite gourmet coffee then it is the appropriate time to make the respective purchase. The gourmet coffee accessories are available in the market a all shapes and sizes and an array of colors and styles.

When we talk about the most loved gourmet coffees that are much popular, they can safely be divided into four main categories namely the latte, cappuccino, espresso and flavored coffees. They have been briefly explained for your benefit. The latte served commonly in café and hence also called the café latte is basically a kind of espresso mixed with hot milk and foam-covered at the top. Cappuccino is also similar to the latte and is made up of espresso and steaming milk blended together. The only difference is that instead of being topped with frothy foam it is frequently garnished with either cinnamon or chocolate.

The espresso on the other hand is a strong and powerful kind of coffee. It incorporates a dark froth and is drunk in over four gulps whereas the flavored coffees include coffee in which the respective flavors are added. Amongst the variety of flavors that are specifically employed for this purpose are Irish cream, vanilla, chocolate, almonds, caramel to name a few.

You can buy coffee both in the market and online. Orders can also be placed on the net and safe and swift delivery is ensured. While doing so you can also look for new flavors of the gourmet coffee. Regardless of the sort of coffee that you purchase, as that is your own choice, but on a personal note I would recommend you to try out all the different flavors in order to find out more about its different tastes. And who knows… whilst trying out new flavors you might find a new favorite! Comparisons amongst the different coffees can also be made. Whereas if you desire to send a gift hamper to somebody, doing so is just a click away, as it is the perfect gift for the coffee lover in your life! Any individual flavor/kind of gourmet coffee can be sent on its own and also in the form of a gourmet coffee gift basket that includes its different flavors which are sure to ignite the recipient’s heart and fill up their senses!

Pod coffee makers have led to a revolution in home brewing convenience. The pods are pre-packaged ground beans in their own filter. A pod coffee maker infuses water through the pad, making a single cup of Joe that is fresh and delicious every time.

It’s easy to see why this invention is so popular. These single serve coffee makers are simple, convenient, easy to clean and produce consistent quality. Because the pods are sold in air-tight packaging they stay fresher longer than traditional grounds, and since there’s no measuring you get great quality every time. The sealed pod prevents grounds from ending up in your cup. Wetting the pods will make it even more aromatic.

With all these great features, why wouldn’t you buy one of these great machines?

First, the investment in the machine itself is more expensive than a traditional drip one. While you can get a drip coffee maker for as little as $20, a pod coffee maker will likely be more than what you might have otherwise spent.

Similar to the car industry though, there are many different makes and models of pod coffee makers. One of the most popular makers is Keurig. Their models range in price from around $75 for the Keurig B50 Gourmet Single Cup Brewing System to around $160 (or more) for the Keurig B70 Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System.

The premium machines have more features, and allow more customization and control. Cheaper models will have fewer features, but can still make good coffee. When selecting your pod coffee maker consider looking for the following popular features:

oSelectable cup size. Some cheap models can only make one cup size, or will simply use up all the water poured in.
oSelectable water temperature. The fixed temperature of budget models can be too hot or cold for your taste. With no option to adjust the temperature you may end up unhappy with your choice.
oA model that will use a variety of pod brands. This will allow the greatest variety of options, but can also help with your budget.
oAutomatic power shut off after brewing is finished.
oA 24 hour timer to automatically start brewing in the morning.
oHigh power (1500 watts) for quick brewing. Some models are as low as 500 watts. A machine that brews a cup in under a minute is ideal.

At this point, you may have started browsing to see what pod options are available. If you’re like me, the cost of the pods themselves has you running for cover. Grab a cup of stale coffee from your old fashioned drip machine and read on to find out how I overcame my fear of the pod coffee maker!

When you start shopping for a single serve coffee maker you will find that they don’t all require a pod. Many are now available that take traditional grounds, similar to the drip variety. While you lose the convenience and easy cleaning of the pods, this option is cheaper than buying pods in the store. Although this alternative is a good compromise between the traditional drip machine and the more expensive pod coffee maker, you need not give up that easy!

The Perfect Pod Maker by Vinnci allows you to create your own pods using traditional grounds. At around $4.00 for 40 pods, this option is hardly more expensive than the machine you’ve been using since college! Another great bonus — you can use your favorite grounds, or mix and match different flavors to create your own brew!

So, toss that drip coffee maker with its burnt leftovers and join the revolution!

As consumers, we always want to have the best that our money can buy, never mind if said money is on the low end of the monetary scale. This applies to the best coffee makers in town, which we expect to deliver not just good but excellent value for our money. After all, if we must settle for good, then we are not living as best as we can.

Criteria for Choosing

First off, we must emphasize that each individual will have his/her own opinion about the best coffee machine since everybody will have his/her own idea of the best coffee too. You may choose a French press for its rich and robust coffee but your friend may prefer an automatic single-cup coffee maker for the variety of flavors available. Indeed, each to his own coffee and coffee maker.

Still, you will do well to remember a few things about coffee machines that make for the best coffees in your life. These criteria can be adopted regardless if you are going for a percolator or an espresso machine although a few criteria will not apply to every type of coffee maker.

First, the best coffee machines provide for brewing temperatures from 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit for five to six minutes to achieve the perfect brew. There are a few machines that can offer such benefit, with Technivorm leading the pack, but you can also replicate these conditions with experience.

Second, we recommend looking for the automatic shut-off option. It will make your life easier and your coffee taste better instead of being burned almost to a liquid crisp. Most models provide from a programmable timer to also control the brewing process so much so that you can put on the coffee grounds the night before and wake up to hot coffee in the morning.

Other features to look into in the best coffee makers are small batch settings, a thermal carafe, a pause-and-serve function and a feature that allows for personal decisions on the strength of the coffee. You will also want easy cleaning and reusable filters to be added to the list of benefits.

Choices in the Best

Since there are many categories of coffee machines, we cannot compare one type with another class of machines. For example, a French press is very different from a thermal carafe coffee maker so comparisons stand on less-than-solid ground.

The following coffee machines have been rated as the best in their categories by consumers:

The best standard one is the 12-cup Cuisinart Brew Central DCC-1200 because of its sleek style, programmable timer, small batch setting and pause-and-serve function, all of which are hallmarks of the best coffeemakers. For the no-frills coffee maker, we suggest the Mr. Coffee JWX27.

For the best thermal carafe is the Zojirushi Fresh Brew with its stainless-steel carafe to keep coffee hot while the other features like the pause-and-serve function are also desired by consumers.

Best connoisseur’s coffee machine is the Technivorm Moccamaster KBT741 and for good reasons, too. Your coffee will taste superbly, that’s for sure.

On a final note, the best coffee makers may be more expensive than their counterparts. But with the benefits of great coffee, easy operations and years of use, you will certainly enjoy excellent value for your money.

This is an article about red coffee maker, but what is so special about this coffee machine? This is not about a brand or a particular model, but a color, so why am I writing an article about the color red? Well, the materials which I used to write my articles, come from the questions and queries that I get from people looking for coffee making machine. Sure, best and gourmet are still the most popular coffee machines that coffee lovers are looking for.

What is surprising is the color red is also one of the most searched coffee brewers. This is pretty interesting, don’t you think so? Rather than asking me where to get the best, or how I would evaluate certain brand of machines making coffee, people are asking me which red coffee brewer I would recommend. Being curious and hoping to know the real reason behind the many requests on red coffee machines, I chat with those people asking, and then confirm the result with professional.

The feedback from these folks on the need for a red color machine is because after running through many color scheme in their mind, they felt that red color would be the one most suitable to blend into their kitchen decor.

I leave it at that and did not asked any more questions although, I still have plenty of it. For example, why did they not consider a under counter or build in coffee brewer? And why is red and not yellow their choice. I asked a friend who is an interior designer about this situation, and this is how he replied. When people are doing renovation for their kitchen, they would designate space for oven, dish washer, washing machine and fridge.

But, build in or under counter coffee machine is not something that they would factor in. Most consumers still think of coffee makers as something you put on your counter top, thus they would finished their kitchen renovation prior to looking for a coffee maker.

And the color red tend to be a generic color that is able to blend into most of the kitchen decoration. It looks good but not over powering, moreover, it is a color that is common enough for people to accept it. Colors like yellow for example, would be considered to be too loud for many people, while silver is too boring. Thus, a red one is a color that can strike a balance.

It is difficult to recommend coffee brewers based on color. But, if I would to do it, I would suggest one that comes with a lower price point.

This is because, if look and feel is the primary focus on the person looking for it, taste profile is not that important. So, they would not want to spent too much on similar looking machine just to have a better coffee. That being said, freshness is still essential. Based on these criteria, I would recommend the “kalorik” red thermo flask coffee maker. It has the look and feel (and most importantly the red color) that people are looking for. And its thermal feature would keep coffee hot and fresh for at least 2 hours.

And the price point for this is affordable at less than $50, a price people would not mind spending on coffee machine. There you have it, my take on why people are looking for a red coffee brewer, and the model which I would recommend…
